The following is an important update regarding online service for some older EA titles.

Servers for the games listed below will be shut down on the indicated dates. You may continue to play the games online up until these dates, but certain community programs may begin to close down prior to the shutdown dates.

it's been a long ride for TW07 version, over 3 years now
Although it's undated, it certainly seems to satisfy the 30 day notice period EA includes in the manual in the online section

No word on any date for TW08, first released in August 2007

Does anyone know why that when playing a tounament if you get kicked out of easo 3 times your score does not register and you get a DNF? I have lost connection sometimes due to weather conditions, ISP problems, heck , once I accidentally kicked the plug for the computer out of the wall socket. What is the reasoning for the 3 strikes your out?

I want to know if the TW2K8 game server will be back up?

where can we play TW08 on-line?

As background information, the games scheduled for shutdown in March and April 2010 represent less than 0.3% of all peak online players across all EA titles. Despite some people's perception, there is a lot of behind-the-scenes work involved with keeping these older games up and running. We would rather our hard-working engineering and IT staff focus on keeping a positive experience for the other 99.7% of customers playing our more popular games. These decisions to retire games is never easy. The EA development teams and operational staff pour their hearts into these games almost as much as the customers playing them and it is hard to see one retired. We hope you have gotten many hours of enjoyment out of the games and we appreciate your ongoing patronage.

Hi Guys,

Have encountered an EASO problem over the last two weeks. Played our EASO Oldies Club practice tourneys on both courses:
TPC River Highlands (09 Version), by PGAX Design Team - last week.
TPC at Southwind (09 Version), by PGAX Design Team - this week.

Yet when I go to play the 24-HR Ladder Club tournaments, it shows the "red Circle" indicating the course is not installed. This is the second week running. As I said, I have already played these courses on EASO in private tourneys and in practice mode. I cannot figure this one out.

Any assistance or advice would be appreciated.

Hi...I am birdman1952, club manager for TW2008 club called " downloaders". We download custom courses and play a club tournament every FRI/SAT/SUN.......If you win, you set the next tournament. We have 10 members and are looking for more. Passord to join is "custom". Check us out....we're a fun bunch.
