EA recently announced that a number of EA Titles will be retired from online service over the next few months

For TW PC fans, that means TW07 online (EASO) will finish on February 09, 2010

We are proud to announce the grand re-opening of the 24-HR Gaming website! With the return of 24-HR Gaming, there will be some changes to the 24-HR Network sites as a whole.

• The Tiger Woods Community and CustomPlay Golf sites have been merged into the new 24-HR Gaming site. Each of these sites now have their own forums with their own skin.
• All downloads for both Tiger Woods Golf and CustomPlay Golf will now be located at 24-HR Gaming
• When registering at 24-HR Gaming, you will have the opportunity to select Tiger Woods Golf or CustomPlay Golf as your main game of interest. Use this if you're only interested in one of these two games.
• If you're interested in all genres of games, make sure you don't specifically select Tiger Woods Golf or Customplay Golf when registering at 24-HR Gaming. (You will still be able to view these forums, but can enjoy all the other forums as well)

The Tiger Woods Community site and the CustomPlay Golf site will remain open for your use for approximately 30 days. Afterward, all members will be redirected to 24-HR Gaming. We strongly encourage you to head over to 24-HR Gaming now, and enjoy the new forum software and incredible new features. Some of the new features include:

• New downloads section. Not only do we have Tiger Woods and CustomPlay Golf courses, but also much, much more!
• You can register at the new site quickly, using your Facebook or Twitter account information.
• The all-new front page allows you to view the latest news from the gaming world.
• You can post to your Facebook or Twitter account directly from 24-HR Gaming! No need to leave the site to make a new wall post or tweet!

Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 11 has officially hit store shelves! The purpose of this launch day blog is to briefly explain the new additions of the online game modes to the series. Also, the blog highlights the online aspects of the game that link up with EASPORTS.com, and shows you where to go to discuss Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 11 with fellow fans and members of the development team.

Meebo is a social networking tool that is built into our sites. The Meebo service is located at the bottom of our sites, in the form of bar. By using Meebo, you can chat with your Facebook, AIM and MySpace friends while surfing our sites. The service will tell you when one of your friends has signed in, and you can chat with them just as you would with any other instant messenger service. You can also do things like follow the live updates of your friends. You can also share a specific 24-HR Network page with your friends via Facebook, Twitter, Google Buzz, Yahoo or email . . . all without leaving the site.

We are looking for a dedicated person (or more) to volunteer to moderate our Music Video Gallery at 24-HR Entertainment. We are looking to build a library of music videos - both studio and live performances - and we would like your help. Volunteers should enjoy both music and music videos - and will be responsible for uploading new content and moderation of content uploaded by site members. No experience is necessary - and volunteering for this position does look great on any resume! For several years the Tiger Woods Community (TWC) website has supported EA's Tiger Woods PGA Tour series of PC games. Earlier this week, Tiger Woods Online was released - and now we've received the very sad news that EASO for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 will be shutting down on May 11, 2010. This means, by necessity, much of our focus will turn to the newly released Tiger Woods Online. We will be contacting EA early next week to attempt to iron out some details regarding building a line of communication with between TWC and Tiger Woods Online. We are committed to bringing our members a run and relaxing place to play, discuss and issue challenges for Tiger Woods online golf.

Tiger Woods Online has gone LIVE. The browser-based game from Electronic Arts is heralded by some as the future of online PC sports games. With the release of the game, two new courses have been added - Harbour Town Golf Links and Oakmont Country Club. While there is a free to play option, becoming a member will give you unlimited access to all courses. The prices for membership range from $9.99 a for a monthly membership, to $59.99 for a yearly membership. As a browser based game, the only download required is the extremely small Unity Player. As the 24-HR Network expands, we have a greater need for volunteers to assist with the various different aspects of our sites. Specifically, we're looking for volunteers at:

With our server move we are making a few changes on how the sites are tied into our network operate.

One thing that we are doing is moving the Arcade, Bookie, and Attack system to a dedicated site of its own. This is in the works right now and almost complete. We are working to install the games at this time on the site and organizing them. All stats on the site will be reset but if you are a current member here, you might be able to login on the Games site once it goes live with your existing account. All account holders that have sponsorship status here will have it there also.

We will be moving to a dedicated Tiger Woods site once again for those fans of the game series. This will allow us to still run the ladder system for everyone to enjoy and continue to serve the Tiger Woods community with their needs.

We will be upgrading the main gaming.com site (the site your currently on) to the newer version of the forum software so that we can better utilize some of the newer features available to it. Gaming.com will remain the central hub for all our gaming sites such as CustomPlay Golf and Tiger Woods. It will also continue to carry news about the gaming world for you to read and share with others.

We will be creating a central site for all download content such as courses for the golf games and add on mods for games. This will be a long process for us but we hope it helps everyone find the files easier in the long run.

We will also be changing how our subscription system works. The biggest change will be there will be on plan at various price levels available. What does this mean to our existing sponsors? Simple put, you will be setup as a Platinum Member on our Gaming site listed above. That is the site that will give all the special rights to you for the various areas. All our other sites will remove sponsorship status on them and be opened up for everyone to have the same rights across the board.

We hope you look forward to these changes and we will keep you up to date as things move forward. Expect the 1st of the changes to take effect in the next few days with the opening of the Games site with the Arcade, Bookie, and Attack system.
